M. Sarmento Rodrigues, Comanding Office of the Lisbon Naval School, has proposed that his School dedicate to her South African colleague, S. A. S. Saldanha, a biographical sketch of Antonio Saldanha, the discoverer of Table Bay, originally called Saldanha Bay. The Centro de Estudos Históricos Ultramarinos, founded five years ago by Admiral Sarmento Rodrigues, has offered to take part in this initiative by publishing an English version of the work (...)”
